9th Annual Ride-On 4 Carrie Charity Motorcycle Run

The 9th Annual Ride-On 4 Carrie Motorcycle Run will take place on Saturday, September 9th, 2023. Breakfast and Sign-up starts at 9am and we Ride-On at 11am.

Once again, we will be be leaving from and returning to Mama G's in Maple Grove; The RO4C headquarters for the past eight years. The day’s itinerary again this year includes a wonderful buffet breakfast catered by Maynard's and served at Mama G's, a 130+ mile road guarded bike run with 4 stops, and of course, all day fun and games. The day will be capped off with a fabulous Big Bore BBQ dinner at Mama G's, an oversized silent and live auction, and making their RO4C debut this year; live music from SIMULATED WOODGRAIN.

For those of you that aren't familiar with the RO4C's mission, funds raised by the RO4C are donated in Carrie's name to persons and families in the midst of their own personal cancer battles.

For the 9th Annual RO4C Motorcycle Run, we have elected 36yo Ashley Wozney ~ A devoted mother to beautiful two year old son, Remy. In March 2022, Ashley noticed something was off and decided to go to her primary Dr for a physical. She was quickly referred for a mammogram and an ultrasound and by April 2022, her worst fear was confirmed, she was diagnosed with Stage 3 IDC HER2+ breast cancer... HER2+ breast cancer is a very aggressive and fast growing cancer, so her medical team needed to act quickly by starting a very aggressive chemo treatment plan in May which ran through late August and shortly followed by a bilateral mastectomy with lymph node removal on October 3, 2022. Pathology results after that surgery confirmed that the chemo had done its job with no active cancer cells found!.. Ashley's battle is not over yet as she still has surgery required and continued immunotherapy infusions every three weeks...

Donations to the Ride-On 4 Carrie Charity are not earmarked for a specific beneficiary. All donations to the RO4C support not only that year’s beneficiary, but also other individuals and families facing a cancer diagnosis that the RO4C's board chooses to support either that year, or in future years. Each year, the RO4C Board will allocate funds to selected recipients based on need, each recipient’s unique circumstances and the RO4C’s available resources.
